The Woodmancote Preschool AGM will be held on Thursday after drop off. Parents of Preschool children are welcome to come for a complimentary drink and cake and hear from the committee about what happened in 2016/17 and our plans for 2017/18. We will also be electing new committee members so if you are interested in helping out at all please let us know.
The committee must appoint a Chairperson, a Secretary and a Treasurer. Our role is to support the management of the Preschool and of course manage the fundraising.
Our committee is a friendly group of Preschool Mums (Dads are welcome to join too!). The management committee meet roughly every 4-6 weeks, and depending on upcoming events, the fundraising committee meet every couple of months. As trustees on the management committee, we might discuss finance, staffing etc. but planning fundraising events is a major part of our meetings and is a lot of fun!
Whether you are interested in learning new skills or looking to make use of your current skills, joining the committee could help you regain your confidence. It’s also a great opportunity to meet new people and have a glass or two at the Apple Tree!
